I-74 Mississippi River Bridge Replacement

In 2016, the Iowa & Illinois Department of Transportations selected Hutchison Engineering, Inc. as part of a Construction Management/General Engineering Consultant (CM/GEC) team to provide overall construction management and oversight for the I-74 central section corridor in the Quad Cities. Projects in the $1.2 Billion corridor began construction in 2017. The various projects include additional lanes, new interchanges and a new Mississippi River bridge from south of Avenue of the Cities in Moline, Illinois to Middle Road in Bettendorf, Iowa. The CM/GEC team will monitor all aspects of construction working hand in hand with respective DOT’s, Municipalities, Counties, Utilities, Contractors, Federal Agencies and inspection consultants to ensure that the multiple projects will be completed on time and within budget.
