HEI was selected by Stark County to provide Phase III engineering services for this $1.9M federally funded, three-span, steel plate girder bridge. 

The project included bridge removal, cofferdams, substructure including abutments, piers, and steel H-piles, steel girders, cast-in-place, reinforced concrete bridge deck, PCC parapets, guardrail, riprap, HMA pavement with aggregate subbase, earthwork and other collateral work. 

HEI provided a resident engineer, construction inspectors, materials testers, and documentation technician to complete daily inspection and materials testing including concrete testing, nuclear density testing for earthwork and aggregates, and DCP testing, quantity and materials documentation utilizing CMMS, change orders, pay estimates, and final project closeout.
