The Pilot Hill Wind Farm and Kelly Creek Wind Farm Projects are wind-powered electric generating facilities nearing completion in Kankakee, Iroquois and Ford Counties in Illinois. These projects provide clean renewable energy for Microsoft Corporation’s Chicago Area Datacenter.
HEI provided boundary and topographical surveying, permitting, design engineering and construction testing services for the development of a 136-acre site used for a new handling grain facility. Proposed improvements include site development, utility extensions, widening IL Route 267 and adding traffic signals to the Comfort Drive intersection for the Village of South Jacksonville, for a grain facility with 2 million a bushel of storage and 6,500-feet of loop track connecting to the Kansas City Southern Railroad to the site.
North Pekin Village Hall
HEI was selected by the Village of North Pekin to construct a new village hall on an empty site within the village limits. HEI's responsibilities included survey, site design, construction observation and materials testing. The site design included parking lot and sidewalk layout to accommodate ADA accessibility, water and sewer system design and storm water system design including on-site detention.
