We are pleased to announced that Dan Draper has joined the HEI Team in Shorewood. Dan comes to us from another consulting firm where he managed both phase I and phase II engineering projects. Prior to that, Dan held a variety of positions at IDOT/ District 3 including Resident Engineer, Bridge Engineer Inspection Specialist, Acting Land Acquisition Engineer and Program Development Project Engineer. He is a Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Brett Wedemeier. Brett, a May graduate from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, comes to us from Galesburg, IL. He will be taking on his new assignments in the Shorewood office.

Hutchison Engineering has announced the recent addition of Stefan Mierzwa to its staff. Mr. Mierzwa is a registered engineer intern and is currently pursuing a master's degree in civil engineering at North Carolina State University. His emphasis is in structural engineering. His primary responsibility will be in the structural department in the Jacksonville office. He is a 2005 graduate of Jacksonville Routt High School and graduate with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville in the fall of 2009. Mr. Mierzwa resides in Jacksonville.
